Common Threads Closet is a non-denominational non-profit that distributes clothing, shoes, and small household items to those in need and in a setting that they can choose the items that they want and need. There are monthly limits so that those who are in need can come to the closet each day its open if needed.
Share your gifts with Common Threads Closet by donating lightly used clothing, shoes, accessories, and small household items that are clean and in good working order. We accept: Clothing for women, men, children, and infants (all sizes) including pajamas, socks, underwear, coats, hats, gloves, belts, boots, shoes, athletic shoes and slippers. Dishes, pots, pans, baking sheets, and kitchenware. Small electrical appliances such as coffee pots, toasters, microwaves and crock pots. Blankets, sheets and pillowcases *No used pillows please. Towels, washcloths and shower curtains, Draperies, curtains and drapery rods, Luggage, Books and toys for children. Other supplies accepted: Large 55 gal garbage bags, Paper Towels, Zip-lock Sandwich & Quart Bags, Postage Stamps, Cleaning Supplies, Batteries, Light bulbs, Masking Tape, Tall Kitchen Bags, and Gently used complete toys and games(no stuffed animals).
We always welcome others to help with our mission. Volunteers help pick up donations, sort and prepare the closet. There is something for every age and ability.
